Generali purchased 16% of Hipotekarna Banka

The Italians paid EUR 10mn for a share chunk of Hipotekarna banka at issuing price of EUR 2,000 per share. The capital increase process was thus successfully completed. The capital of Hipotekarna Banka now amounts to EUR 25mn.
Generali Group became the owner of 15.97% shares of Hipotekarna Banka through Flandria Participations Financiere, its investment company from Brussels.

‘Generali Group paid EUR 10mn for share chunk of Hipotekarna banka at issuing price of EUR 2,000 per share. The capital increase process was thus successfully completed. The capital of Hipotekarna Banka now amounts to EUR 25mn’, it was stated in the Hipotekarna Banka communiqué yesterday.

The Assembly of the Hipotekarna Banka shareholders made a decision on on closed offering of shares on June 29, 2007. 5,000 shares were issued at individual nominal value of EUR 511.29 .

‘Generali Group, one of the biggest financial groups in Europe, is present with its insurance companies in 40 countries of the world’, it is stated in the communiqué. Three Italian families are majority owners of Hipotekarna Banka. The same association is an owner of Croatian Podravska Banka.
