Agrokor bids for Dunavkomerc
Croatian food group Agrokor has placed a 6.5 million euro bid to acquire Montenegrin company Duvankomerc, owned by Montenegrin tobacco producer Duvanski Kombinat Podgorica (DKP). Duvankomerc, which operates in tobacco wholesale, also owns a network of stalls and warehouses, the office of the Italian Institute for Foreign Trade (ICE) in Zagreb said. Besides Agrokor, Serbian distribution chain Futuraplus has placed a 2.1 million euro offer for the Montenegrin company. Agrokor, which owns Croatian chain Tisak, is present on the Montenegrin market since June when it acquired 87% of the shares in the company Stampa (leader on the publishing market), part of the Italian group Cerere (food).
