Kika in the Romanian market
Kika, the furniture and interior decoration retailer, opens today the first shop in Romania, The Money Channel informs. The network has over 60 shops in Austria, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Croatia and Slovakia. The new shop represents an investment of EUR 31 M and will create 250 jobs. Kika targets a share of at least 10 per cent of Bucharest market. In the next five years the company intends to launch new units in Constanta, Timisoara and Oradea. Ikea already has a share of 20 per cent of Bucharest market, the most important in the country.
