Four companies interested in Galenika
German company Stada, Greek Alapis, American Abott and investment fund OMNIA are the four companies which bought the documentation in the first step of the privatization process of Serbian pharmaceutical company Galenika.
According to announcements, the privatization process will be continued only if the price reaches EUR 300 million. So far, only Greek company Alapis, owner of Sumadijaleka, officially confirmed its interest in the Serbian company. German company State, owner of Serbia’s Hemofarma, has on several occasions denied its interest in Galenika. However, according to unofficial sources, Stada did buy the documentation.
