Greatest tourist city in SEE to be built in Trnovo
In the area of the Trnovo Municipality, close to Sarajevo, the largest tourist city in Southeast Europe is going to be built and it will have thousands of residential units, hotels, the biggest shopping center in Bosnia and Herzegovina and other necessary infrastructure which will create the possibility of employment for a great number of people.
The project is worth around 4.5 million KM and it is financed by the company Buroj Property Development from the United Arab Emirates.
Director of the firm Ismail Ahmet signed a Protocol on Cooperation today with the Municipal Mayor of Trnovo Ibro Beril.
On this occasion, Ahmet said that the signing of the document is only the first step towards building a strong partnership between the BiH authorities and the company Buroj Property Development.
This company, he said, is one of the leading companies in urban development and it is committed to becoming a strong partner of BiH in developing the huge tourism potential that the country has.
“We came here to work with the authorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina as a partner in order to ensure that profits and benefits of our joint project will be shred between Buroje Property Development and the citizens of BiH,” said Ahmet, adding that the company he represents plans to assist BiH to become one of the leaders in tourism in countries in the region and beyond.
This project is will not only bring direct revenue from tourists but will directly and indirectly create employment opportunities for thousands of people.
Mayor of the Municipality Trnovo Ibro Berilo pointed out that the signing of the Protocol is a historic day for the Municipality Trnovo and the municipality confirmed its readiness for partnership in the project.
He said he would need the help of higher levels of government because the project exceeds the capabilities and capacities of the Municipality Trnovo.
The project is entitled Buroj Ozon.
