Egypt’s human rights winter

Popular upsurge in Egypt promised that the country exit the arbitrariness and poverty represented by a dictatorial regime. The country had been ruled as an Absolute monarchy and the popular uprisings were meant to make the country more accountable about its people and less coercive. A report on the atrocities that took place during the uprisings that had been commanded by the government and Morsi itself has been dumped by the authorities. Human rights is not just an ideology of the west but can contain the essence of democracy its ultimate moral stance namely respect of the right of its people in justice and well-being.
