Zahra for President of Iran
When imagination serves politics than culture enters the center stage of action. The new imaginary Zahra probably inspired by the surprisingly successful French comic Persepolis is posting for President in a campaign that uses all the virtual possibilities of the communication’s apparatus. Through an unlimited communication, the exchange and wide circulation of ideas and a hefty album or daily trailer of images Zahra may come more real than Kameney and Rafsanjani and gain the hearts and minds of the Iranians. If these ideas create such a vast popular consensus than Zahra campaign would appoint the real winner no matter which president is holding the reins of the state.
