Bulgarian ad mkt seen up 20% in next 2 yrs
Bulgaria's advertising market will expand by more than 20% in each of the next 2 years, Advertising Agencies Association chief Krasimir Gergov said at the annual forum of the organisation. Domestic ad revenues totalled 112.4 mln euro last year, up 23.42% over 2004. Television is the top choice of advertisers with 66 mln euro of ad spending. It is followed by the print media where revenues jumped by 27% in 2005. Internet ad spending zoomed up by 85% to 2 mln euro in 2005. The share of online advertising in the overall revenues is seen at 3% in 2007, up from 1.5% last year.
