Middle Europe Investments enter Bg, Rom market
The Dutch investments administration company Middle Europe Investments set up an investments fund that will finance small-sized companies in Bulgaria and Romania.
The fund was launched with a capital of 25 million euros and will finance start-up businesses. Unlike other funds that are already operating in the two countries, the new vehicle of Middle Europe Investments targets smaller businesses, that need financing between 1 and 3 million euros.
Middle Europe Investments has offices in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Bulgaria and Russia, and is mainly after investments in Central and Eastern Europe.
The Dutch are frequently cooperating with local partners to which count banks or institutions specializing in large corporate financing. The company manages listed funds, real estate investments, projects for the financing of private capital companies.
