The Usje cement factory has announced that it would lay off 180 people as a consequence of the economic crisis and added that downsizing would most probably continue.
"Faced with the effects of the global economic crisis and worsened economic conditions on the Macedonian and foreign markets, which have led to significant drops in production and sales, we are forced to immediately find a solution that will secure long-term survival", said the cement factory.
